Working with me is a collaborative process towards a common goal—landing your next position.

If you haven’t already sent your resume for a FREE critique, start at step one. If you’re ready to work together on new career marketing documents, steps three to six outline the process.

Step One:

Send an email (brenda@robustresumesandresources.com) or use the contact form to request a free critique.

Step Two:

I’ll spend up to 30 minutes reviewing your resume and LinkedIn profile, answering questions, and giving you an overview of the process and timing.

Step Three:

You receive an email with a pre-interview assignment (Word file) and invoice. Payment is required by the date of the phone interview and can be completed by Interac e-transfer, PayPal, or wire transfer.

Step Four:

The phone interview: this is a comprehensive probing session (maximum of 90 minutes) where we discuss your responses to the pre-interview assignment with an emphasis on extracting your optimal career accomplishments, competencies, and areas of expertise specific to your target job. Consider this a two-way brainstorming session.

Clients often find the assignment and phone interview help them prepare for job interviews in a supportive environment.

Step Five:

Your new resume arrives within seven working days. We’ll work together on a maximum of three rounds of edits in 30 days. (Exceptions may apply as warranted.)

If you’ve bought additional services, we then advance to the next stage of your project otherwise the next step is up to you!

Step Six:

Use your new, modern resume to commence an active job search, explore opportunities, and position yourself for success in a highly competitive job search market.
